Book 4
The Observer and the Taste of Presence
The book begins with the sense of an observer standing behind experience and asks whether it can be found. It then examines what seems to take its place: a given layer beneath concepts, energy, a store of possibility, a carrier of continuity. It ends with the two modes of seeing and the Dzogchen phrase "beyond cause and effect".
Several chapters grew out of the bonus articles, which stay online as separate pieces, each with its own video.
